British soul singer Daley sings like an old-school playa…He has that Marvin Gaye / Ronnie Dyson sound that really impresses me as there are not too many white boys that can sing with this kind of soul & conviction. His debut CD, Days & Nights, is really chilled and has a good feel to it. And yes, the opening track “Look Up” was produced by super-producer, Pharrell (his sound is instantly recognizable). That duet with Marsha Ambrosius, “Alone Together”, is Quiet Storm material that is definitely Grammy-worthy. I added a few more songs from his impressive EP, Alone Together.
